BioFashionTech is a circular biotechnology company developing innovative solutions to transform complex textile waste into valuable resources, bridging science, industry and sustainability.

BioFashionTech is a biotechnology and circular-economy company developing new solutions for the valorisation of complex textile waste. The company focuses on recovering valuable components from mixed textile streams and creating new pathways for materials that are currently difficult to recycle.

BioFashionTech combines scientific development with industrial validation and works with research institutions, companies and circular-economy organisations across Europe. Its technology has already been tested through paid pilot projects and collaborative R&D programmes, including projects with the Municipality of Rotterdam, Innovhub SSI and HAN University of Applied Sciences.

BioFashionTech is also a partner in S3ORTED, a four-year collaborative programme bringing together 17 organisations to advance circular solutions for textiles.

The company has received several recognitions, including selection as a finalist in the KVK Innovation Top 100, the Upstream Rotterdam award and the Premio America Innovazione in Italy.
