About this event
Where lunch meets launch. Itβs a sandwich. Itβs a story. It might just change your plans.
BLT stands for Business Lunch Talk, but itβs also a good excuse to eat a sandwich while hearing what itβs actually like to start a company.
This is where curious students, researchers, and future founders gather to hear unfiltered stories from real entrepreneurs whoβve built (and sometimes blown up) their own ventures.
What to expect:
Each BLT is a casual, one-hour lunch event where an invited founder shares their journey: the wins, the flops, the pivots, and everything in between. Youβll hear what it really takes to start something from scratch, and maybe get inspired to try it yourself. Expect a good story, a good crowd, and a seriously good sandwich.
Why come?
- You want to hear what itβs really like, not just the shiny bits
- Youβre into the idea of building something
- Space to ask questions, chat, and connect
- You like sandwiches
Whatβs with the rocket part? π
Good question. At this event, youβll get The Flame: the first piece of a miniature rocket. Attend all four events, collect all four pieces (Flame, Engine, Body, Cockpit), and youβll have a full rocket by the end. Each piece marks a new stage in your startup journey, from first spark to full launch. Itβs a physical token of your curiosity, commitment, and growing know-how.
BLTs are your starting point. Come for the sandwich, stay for the story, and walk away with your first step toward building something of your own.
About the Speaker
Founder of Tonyβs Chocolonely
Teun van de Keuken is a Dutch journalist, TV presenter, and entrepreneur. He made his name with an investigative food-industry show, digging into shady practices behind everyday products and that reporting is what led him to chocolate and child slavery in the industry. Rather than just report on it, he took action and ended up founding Tony's Chocolonely, now one of Europe's best-known social-impact brands. He's also written a novel on the side. Basically: journalist who got so fed up with a problem, he built a company to fix it.
