About Acady Acady is a specialized tutoring company supporting international students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP and DP programs. Through high-quality, personalized one-on-one online tutoring sessions, we empower students to excel academically and reach their full potential.

Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Tutor Manager to join our team on an employment basis and strengthen the backbone of our tutoring services. In this role, you will be responsible for finding and attracting talented tutors, guiding them through onboarding, and serving as their primary point of contact for ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Tutor Recruitment: Proactively identify, attract, and recruit qualified tutors (including both IB graduates and certified IB teachers) who are the right fit for Acady's standards and student needs.
• Tutor Intake: Conduct online intake conversations with prospective tutors to get to know them, assess their experience and expertise, and determine whether they are a strong fit for Acady.
• Tutor Onboarding: Guide new tutors through a smooth and thorough onboarding process, ensuring they feel prepared and confident from day one.
• Tutor Support: Act as the primary point of contact for current tutors, answering questions and providing timely support to help them do their best work.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Experience: Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or people management is preferred, but not required, we will teach you the essentials.
• Knowledge of IB Curriculum: Familiarity with the IB MYP/DP curriculum is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.
• Commitment: Availability of 30–40 hours per week across four to five working days. We are seeking dedicated candidates who can prioritize this role and act as a reliable point of contact for our tutors, without conflicting commitments such as part-time jobs or studies.
• Long-Term Engagement: We are looking for someone who intends to commit long term and grow with Acady.
• Location: This role is fully on-site at our office in central Groningen.
• Eligibility: Candidates must hold an EU passport or a residence permit that allows for employment without a TWV (tewerkstellingsvergunning).
