At COC Groningen & Drenthe, everything revolves around people. Our organization exists thanks to the dedication of enthusiastic volunteers who commit to acceptance, visibility, and connection. Whether you enjoy helping out at events, want to be active within one of our communities, or prefer supporting behind the scenes, your contribution makes a real difference.

Tasks and duties

At the COC, we are always looking for volunteers to support all the activities we organize. For example, there are monthly meetings for young people, the elderly, people with mild intellectual disabilities, and migrants. All these meetings are organized by groups of volunteers, and these groups can almost always use extra support. We are also looking for volunteers who can help with social media and visibility, and with assisting with one-off activities. Additionally, the COC provides information sessions at schools and other institutions, and we are always looking for extra volunteers to give presentations.

Skills and qualities

If you are social, enthusiastic, a good team player, have an affinity with the rainbow community in Groningen and Drenthe, and have a few hours a month to volunteer, we would love to get in touch with you!
