Under the name Buurten bij Bernlef, various activities are carried out in and around the Bernlef residential care center. The more than one hundred apartments are primarily inhabited by elderly people, who receive support in specific areas. The WerkPro neighborhood restaurant is located on the ground floor. Every day, more than 60 neighbors from the Paddepoel district eat at the restaurant. In addition, we deliver meals to the homes of the residential care center residents.

Are you a born host/hostess who enjoys working independently and isn't afraid to take responsibility for our guests? Then this vacancy might be for you! We are looking for a host/hostess to help keep the restaurant running during the bi-weekly activities on Friday afternoons. You will join a fun team of enthusiastic colleagues with whom you will work at larger events!

Tasks and duties

• Preparing our spaces for the activity in question.
• Opening and closing the restaurant for our guests.
• Receiving guests.
• Making coffee and tea so that the guests lack nothing.
• Serving and assisting people who have rented our restaurant for a party, for example. You will be the point of contact and responsible for the smooth running of the evening.
• Assist in the hospitality area every other Friday during the Bingo afternoon/music afternoon/pub quiz.
