Noorderzon Festival Bar Team Volunteer

The largest group of volunteers working at Noorderzon are our hospitality volunteers. For the various bars on our festival grounds, we are looking for people who enjoy serving drinks to our audience. The duties mainly involve pouring, tapping beer, and handling payments. Additionally, you will be heavily involved in setting up, tidying up, and cleaning your assigned location/bar. You will work alongside a large group of volunteers who are managed by our bar supervisors. The responsibility for all of this lies with our hospitality managers, who manage a specific area within our festival. Hospitality experience is not required!

Are you able to sit still for a moment alongside your hard work, and do you enjoy connecting with new colleagues and our customers? Then sign up as a volunteer for this position. Most volunteer 'shifts' within our hospitality area take place daily between 12:00 – 19:00 and between 19:00 – 1:00.

The minimum age for working in the hospitality sector at Noorderzon is 18. On our festival grounds in the Noorderplantsoen, we have set up various bars for our audience. All these bars are 'run' by Noorderzon itself, in contrast to the various food establishments you encounter at Noorderzon. These places are operated by companies designated by Noorderzon for this purpose (tenants). You cannot apply to work at the food establishments through Noorderzon.
