For the Sunnemeerten Parade, we are (urgently) looking for 1 or 2 volunteers who can support the participants at our Workshops with building the lanterns and light sculptures.

What are you going to do?

Together with the participants, you will work on lanterns and sculptures made of materials including rice paper and willow branches. About the Sunnemeren Parade

The Sunnemeerten Parade is a Groningen light parade inspired by the tradition of Saint Martin. Citizens of all ages build unique light sculptures together, which are carried through the center of Groningen during the parade, accompanied by music, dance, and performance. Connection, creativity, and making something beautiful together take center stage.
