Analog (mixed-signal) IC Design Engineer

As a analog (mixed-signal) IC design engineer at Sencure, you will be responsible for the schematic design, physical layout, verification and validation of IP and sub-blocks.
You will be part of the IC design team, closely working together with experienced engineers in one or more ASIC development projects.
Your Profile
- Experienced (2 β 5 years) in Analog & Mixed-Signal ASIC design from product definition phase to tape-out and bench validation.
- Proven experience with Cadence EDA tools and AMS design flows.
- A thorough understanding of semiconductor physics and various IC processes.
- Strong attention to technical detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within teams.
- Commitment to deliver IC / IP / sub-block designs in time and with high quality to colleagues, customers, and management.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge.
- Experience with Matlab / Simulink is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required, fluency in Dutch is a plus.
Your Responsibilities
- IP / sub-block / analog_top design according requirement specification including:
β concept design and modelling
β schematic implementation (including design for test)
β assist (physical) layout implementation
β (analog mixed-signal) verification (simulation)
β validation (support measurements / test) - Perform feasibility study on new architectures and implementations.
- Translate requirements into design specifications and design solutions.
- Structured and documented root cause analyses and problem solving.
- Create detailed technical documentation.
- Organize and participate in design reviews.
- Working as part of IC development project team in close cooperation with system architect, (analog/digital) design engineers, HW / validation / test engineers and (physical) layout engineers.
- Assist and guide subcontractors.
