We are looking to extend our team in the Netherlands (Groningen office) with an experienced frontend developer who embraces modern, AI-enhanced development practices. The traditional boundaries in software development are evolving. We're looking for a frontend specialist who leverages AI to accelerate their work, stays current with emerging technologies, and understands that modern development means working smarter with intelligent tools as your companion.

Core Frontend Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with React, Vue, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Good knowledge of how browsers work in terms of performance, security, and functionality
• Experience with developing for different types of platforms and device sizes
• Understanding of proper testing strategies

AI-Enhanced Workflow

• Experience using AI development tools to enhance productivity and code quality
• Understanding of how to effectively collaborate with AI assistants for frontend development
• Knowledge of AI development best practices and limitations
• Ability to evaluate when to leverage AI assistance versus fundamental development skills

Nice to haves

• Experience with frontend testing tools like Cypress
• Knowledge of performance optimization and web vitals
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Understanding of modern web development practices
• Experience working in an agile product development environment
• Interest in or experience with integrating AI/ML capabilities into frontend applications
