Job Summary
You will be working in a team of sales support specialists responsible for supporting colleagues in markets around the world selling Cheese & Powder upgrades. Based in 4 locations in the world the team is providing technical and commerical support to colleagues and customers, to grow our upgrades business in Cheese, Evaporation & Drying and Powder Handling.
We are now looking for aΒ Sales Support SpecialistΒ who will provide technical and commerical support to colleagues and customers.
The position is permanent and preferably based in Heerenveen, Netherlands. You need to be open to travelling up to 20% of your time.
No relocation service will be provided for this position.
What you will do
As a Sales Support Specialist you will manage upgrade inquiries from understanding customer needs to selling the solution in close cooperation with the Market organisations. You will ensure our customers are satisfied and take action when needed to make things right.
Main responsibilities:
- Build up relationships with your partners in Market organisations to continually develop knowledge, skills, and confidence, while holding the team accountable for performance
- BS Services point of contact for Market organisations regarding upgrades business in assigned markets
- Make regular joint customer visits with the Services Account Manager team to foster a relationship with key customers and to provide them with Cheese Expertise.
- Actively participate in the development of Cheese Upgrades business
- Support in introduction and implementation of the Cheese Upgrade portfolio with Market organisations and customers.
- Execute small upgrade projects in the role of project manager
- Gather market intelligence and formulate proposals for new upgrade products
We believe you have
- Bachelorβs degree in mechanical, automation or dairy processing engineering or similar suitable education and/or experience
- Several years relevant experience in the food industry, preferably in Dairy.
- Sales experience in technology industry will be a plus
- Customer relationship management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of processing equipment used within the food industry
- Experience with Tetra Pak Cheese equipment is a benefit
- Good verbal, written & computer communication skills are essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Fluency in written and spoken Dutch is strongly preferable
