Stress Engineer
Posted onAs a Senior Structural Engineer at Titan, you independently calculate and design structures for complex projects in chemical, petrochemical and salt processing environments.
You perform strength calculations, advise on structural challenges and support colleagues throughout the design process. You take ownership, lead where needed and are not afraid to ask critical questions.
What you will do
- Perform detailed calculations based on applicable codes, standards and client specifications
- Support mechanical engineers in structural design decisions
- Stay up to date with relevant standards and inform colleagues
- Review design and production drawings
- Align with project teams on preliminary and final designs
- Ensure designs comply with internal quality procedures
What you bring
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a structural engineer
- Experience with pressure vessels and piping is a plus
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- You take responsibility and ask the right questions
