Frontend or Backend IT Trainee

The Role

Not sure whether to focus on Python (backend) or frontend development (Vue)? Or interested in exploring both? At XS2Event, we offer a traineeship where you get the space to discover your direction and rapidly grow as a developer.

From day one, you’ll work on real projects and get hands-on experience with modern technologies. Together with experienced developers, you’ll build scalable and user-friendly applications while discovering where your strengths lie: backend, frontend, or fullstack.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to frontend and/or backend features in real products.
• Developing with Python (backend) and/or Vue 3 (frontend).
• Collaborating with backend developers, designers, and product teams.
• Writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Thinking along about technical and product improvements.
• Actively developing your own technical skills.
• Winning mindset and strong work ethic.
• Driven to perform and continuously improve.

Tech stack

• Python
• Vue 3
• TypeScript/JavaScript
• GitLab Pipelines (CI/CD)
• Modern CSS frameworks & component-based architecture

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent level).
• Demonstrable programming experience (e.g., hobby projects, GitHub).
• Interest in Python and/or frontend development (Vue).
• You don’t know your exact direction yet but are motivated to learn.
• Eager to learn, ambitious, and willing to work hard.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
