8. Decent Work and Economic Growth

Work is changing. People are moving. Work changes faster than job titles. Those who move, stay relevant. HireTheTalent was founded on a simple observation: work is changing faster than the way we organize decisions about work. Roles are shifting, career paths are becoming less predictable, and employability can no longer be taken for granted. Yet many decisions are still made within structures designed for an era that we left behind us, or based on intuition rather than structure.

  • Organizations that organize movement well, stay ahead. The labor market is structurally in motion. Roles change faster, skills become outdated more quickly, and careers are less predictable. More and more people want to keep developing and avoid getting stuck. At the same time, more organizations are realizing that their current approach does not always keep up with that movement.
  • HireTheTalent operates at the intersection of labor mobility and sustainable employability within both permanent and temporary roles in multiple sectors. We help to organize movement before it turns into stagnation. Alongside our mobility and sustainable employment programs, we also have a recruitment branch through which we actively place candidates and support them during their initial period after starting a new role, or when they want or need change job roles. We organize this through the Human Current decision method: human-centered, evidence-based, and future-proof. HireTheTalent is part of Human Current. Within Human Current, we develop structures and decision logic for choices related to societal and human-centered challenges. HireTheTalent brings this into practice within the labor market: skills-based profiles, learning integrated with mobility, and structured pathways that help people and organizations move forward. Practical and method-driven designed to hold up, even when decisions need to be explained or justified retrospectively.
