Startfest Tolbert

Startfest is the festival where everything revolves around your development and discovering your talents. Everyone is welcome. Young or old… whatever your education, work experience or background. At Startfest, they do not look at a CV, but at what someone can do.

Educators, companies, entrepreneurs and industry associations are happy to show what they have to offer at StartFest. Through activities, we inspire you to discover your qualities and talents and what you can do with them. This could be going to work (more/again), a (different) job, starting an education, volunteering or starting an orientation. Every movement is valuable. Guides are ready to help you on your way and discover your talents and possibilities.

There will be all kinds of things to do and various workshops to attend - however, for this edition, all workshops are in Dutch. We always recommend jobseekers to network, and the event is completely free, so stop by and make some new connections! At the beginning you will find the guides from Startpunt, who are happy to help you on your way. Please note that for this edition, Make it in the North will not be present themselves.

There is plenty to do. Talk to stallholders and take part in one of the many fun activities!

In addition to the activities, you can also give your CV a fresh update at the CV Car Wash! Professionals will review your CV with you and offer tips to make it stronger. Plus, a photographer will be available for a professional and polished photo that you can use right away for job applications.

Got an appetite from all these activities? On-site, you’ll find various food trucks offering delicious snacks and drinks. From a quick bite to a healthy lunch – there’s something for everyone.
