Exotic plants fighter
Together with your colleague you will go out to combat aquatic plants and improve the flow in waterways. You will not only work along the banks, but also from the mowing boat, with which you will sail through the beautiful canals of Groningen .
You will focus primarily on removing the large pennywort, a fast-growing exotic species that clogs waterways and overgrows native plants without intervention. You will do this largely with hand tools, working carefully to prevent spreading. In larger areas, a crane will be used to do the heavier work. Thanks to your efforts, nature remains in balance and the waterways remain easily accessible.

What we ask of you:
- You enjoy working outdoors and preferably have experience in green maintenance.
- You function well in a small, permanent team.
- You have a swimming certificate (safety comes first!).
- You are sociable and have a good sense of humor.
- You are willing to obtain a VCA certificate via Actief Techniek if you do not already have one.
