Welder shipbuilding
We are continuously looking for shipbuilding welders in Delfzijl , Westerbroek and Hoogezand .
As a welder in shipbuilding, you are able to weld heavy ship constructions such as double bottoms, side tanks, deck hatches, anchors, skin plates, ring sections and wheelhouses. Mainly stainless steel, steel and aluminium are used and high demands are placed on quality. Furthermore, as a welder, you are able to work with various steel connections and you know how to set the current, voltage and wire feed of the associated welding machine. Quality welded connections, welding positions, melting blade, shielding gas, welding arc and the right penetration, butt or fillet weld is completely your thing.
About the client
Our client is a manufacturer of prefabricated pipe sections and modules.

What we ask of you:
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience in ship repair/shipbuilding/offshore is an advantage.
- MIG/MAG and electrode welding level 3 completed.
- A valid welding certificate (pré)
- Knowledge of WPS welding drawings and welding method descriptions
- Knowledge of material and tools
- A flexible attitude towards work and working hours
- An independent working attitude
- Technical and spatial insight
- Experience with reading drawings
- A valid welding certificate Has the following qualifications
- VCA basic safety
