Hours per week: 32 – 40 hours , Location: Eelde/Groningen Airport

Position Overview 

In this role, you would be joining our tech team of around 30 colleagues and help design, stabilize and scale our infrastructure and system architectures.  

We are therefore looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer who can think along in both a strategic and service-oriented way. Your expertise will help us support the development team and ensure Continuous Delivery.  

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • Work closely with the development team and the wider group of stakeholders to understand both AI-InfraSolutions’ products and customers’ needs. 
  • Responsible for platform stability, uptime and scaling. 
  • Setup, scaling and maintenance of infrastructure, services and automation. 
  • Implementation of supporting DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, infrastructure & configuration management). 
  • Assisting the development teams with deployments. 
  • Taking care of security and software updates. 
  • Assisting in product and service migrations. 
  • Knowledge of system and network architecture. 

Requirements & qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in a same or similar role;  
  • Professional and intellectual ability at the level of higher professional education. 
  • Solid experience working in a private cloud environment   
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Python and PostgreSQL. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Linux and infrastructure. 
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools. 
  • A strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset  

Nice to haves 

  • Experience working in an agile environment. 
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery and Big Data.
