Colorectal cancer is the second deadliest yet most preventable cancer. Small, subtle polyps often go unnoticed during colonoscopy, allowing cancer to silently grow into a life-threatening tumor. Every missed polyp is a missed chance to save a life.

At Ameretat, we’re building a cutting-edge AI-powered solution to help doctors detect and classify polyps in real time, ensuring cancer is caught at its earliest, most treatable stage. We already know the main players in the field—but now we want to dig deeper. We’re looking for a Market Research Intern to help us uncover insights about the international market, competitors, and customers that will shape our next moves.

Who You Are

• Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable talking to people from all walks of life, including clinicians and decision-makers.
• Skilled at handling both numbers (datasets, adoption rates, pricing models) and words (interviews, questionnaires).
• Confident enough to share your thoughts, even if they challenge the status quo.
• Happy to work independently while keeping the team updated.
• Happy to travel and visit people or hospitals.
• Excited to work in an early-stage health tech startup where your work will have a direct impact.

What You’ll Work On

Competition & Market Analysis

• Research competitor offerings, pricing models, adoption rates, and usage in different types of hospitals.
• Gather insights from research papers, industry reports, and conferences.
• Identify emerging players, innovations, and trends in colonoscopy and related medical fields.
• Interview specialists and industry stakeholders to understand market realities.

Customer & Stakeholder Research

• Map out key stakeholders (end users, decision-makers, influencers) in target markets.
• Design and execute surveys and interviews to collect real customer feedback.
• Investigate hospital workflows for colonoscopy and polyp detection and how our solution can make them more effective.
• Explore potential adjacent markets where our technology could have impact.
