As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for Business Development and Marketing activities. You will be a member of InnoCore’s Business Development team and be of pivotal importance establishing and building out relationships with our clients. You will work closely with our team of Project Managers and Scientists ensuring the delivery of world class sustained release drug delivery products to our clients.

The challenge

In your role as Business Development Manager you will:

  • Create long term value for both InnoCore and its clients
  • Create technical marketing materials and lead the marketing activities and promotion campaigns especially by e-marketing with a focus on Google Ads, LinkedIn campaigns/banners.
  • Continuously update and improve the InnoCore website to focus on client needs and generate organic traffic.
  • Generate (new) leads by (cold) calling, relationship building, networking, client and partnering meetings and active account management.
  • Be accountable for a subset of sales and business strategies including competitor analysis.
  • Lead the business development cycle for a subset of clients with ownership from new lead or opportunity generation to closing.
  • Closely work with Project Management and the cross-functional teams at InnoCore to create compelling business proposals and strive for continuous client satisfaction
  • Accurately report and registration of all BD and sales activities in InnoCore’s Client Relation Management (CRM) system.
  • Be frequently travelling to conferences and prospective clients to expand the InnoCore network and relationships.

Skills and competencies

In addition to having a MSc/PhD in a relevant discipline, you have:

  • at least 2-4 years of industrial experience in the pharmaceutical (services) industry.
  • excellent communication and relation management skills.
  • (strong) research and strategic analysis skills
  • project management experience, be able to set goals, plan and manage activities, manage the risks involved, review budgets, cost and timelines

Proven Business Development or marketing experience in the field of drug discovery and drug product development is a pre.
