Event volunteer

Groningen's Bevrijdingsfestival is looking for people to volunteer at this event! Even though the sign-up form is in Dutch, we also welcome English-speaking volunteers who don't speak Dutch.

Available positions

Clean Team (May 5/6/7)

In the Clean Team, you ensure that the festival grounds and the surrounding area remain clean and tidy. You collect cups and change garbage bags. You are right in the middle of the festivities. After our festival, we also need a large group of cleaners; do you have time then too? Be sure to let us know!

Bicycle Escort Team (May 5)

Do you enjoy showing everyone the way and creating order in the bicycle chaos of Groningen? Then the position of bicycle escort might be just right for you. In pairs, you ensure that everyone arriving by bike parks it in the correct spot in the vicinity of the racetrack.

Passepartout Team (May 5)

This year, we once again have a Passepartout Team helping us with sales and wristband checks at the Passepartout toilets.

Side Program Team (May 5)

Besides music, there is much more to be found on the festival grounds! The Side Program Team supports all activities in addition to the music. Think of activities in the Garden of Freedom, helping with the Freedom Meal, or in the kids area.

Team Flying Keep (May 5)

Are you flexible and do you feel like rolling up your sleeves in more than one place? Then this is for you! In Team Flying Keep, you will carry out ad-hoc tasks wherever needed.

Are you coming to work for our festival? Then you will receive a volunteer allowance from us. The amount of this allowance depends on your role and working hours. You can find more information about this here.

You can be scheduled between approximately 09:00 and 02:00 (May 6). If you have a preference regarding working hours, please indicate this in the comments. We will then do our best to take this into account as much as possible.
