Service Technician Systems

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Service Technician Systems for the Kolham location. As a Service Technician Systems, you deliver new installations and products and make them operational for the customer. You also perform periodic inspections and provide service to customers with defective or non-functioning systems.
What is expected of you?
- Maintaining, repairing, and commissioning our Marpower products;
- Preparing documentation, schematics, and designs for service project activities;
- Writing reports after each visit, both for the customer and for internal purposes;
- Providing service and support to customers worldwide;
- Participating in the on-call duty (six-week cycle) for emergencies and providing remote support.
The Business Unit Systems operates under the brand name Marpower. Marpower is a leader in the field of power converters and automation solutions for the maritime and offshore market. Within the Power Systems cluster, high-quality power electronics systems are developed, produced and supplied for energy storage, drives, DC distribution, grid conversion and shore power connections. These systems are fully automated by the Marpower Automation platform for, among other things, power and energy management.
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- MBO+ / HBO level of thinking and working, with a background in electrical engineering;
- Experience in commissioning and repairing drive systems;
- Knowledge of power electronics, motor control, various communication protocols, and power quality measurements;
- Analytical and able to quickly understand unfamiliar systems;
- Independent, stress-resistant, and responsible work attitude;
- Customer-oriented – you are the face of our systems at the client’s site;
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
- Willingness to travel worldwide for service and commissioning activities.
