Product Manager – Animal & Landcare Solutions

What will you do as Product Manager – Animal & Landcare Solutions (Europe)

As our new Product Manager – Animal & Landcare Solutions, you will be responsible for managing and optimising Gallagher Europe’s existing product portfolio in three key solution areas:

• Animal Performance & Traceability (AP&T) (Gallagher)
• Pest Control (Goodnature) 
• Shearing & Clipping (Heiniger)

You ensure that each category delivers consistent profitability, reliability and customer satisfaction. Your focus is on product lifecycle excellence — ensuring that all hardware, software and accessories perform optimally in the market, are correctly positioned, compliant and continuously improved where needed.

Together with the Business Development Manager and the Marketeer AP&T & Goodnature, you form the Competence Centre, which connects market insight, product performance and commercial execution. Where the BDM pioneers’ new opportunities and future developments, you ensure that Gallagher’s current portfolio is managed with precision, structure and value for the customer — providing product stories and content grounded in user insights, not just technical specifications.

You achieve this through:

• Managing the full lifecycle of existing products and solutions.
• Ensuring commercial relevance, profitability and technical quality across Europe.
• Translating user feedback and product experience into clear, market-ready messaging for the marketing team.
• Collaborating with Gallagher Group NZ Product Management and R&D on updates, performance feedback and roadmap alignment.
• Safeguarding compliance, documentation and customer experience for all assigned products.

Who you’ll work with

You will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing Europe and collaborate closely with:

• Business Development Manager – Animal & Landcare Solutions
• Marketeer AP&T & Goodnature
• Sales, Operations and Customer Support teams across Europe
• Product Management & R&D teams in New Zealand
• Strategic Partners such as Heiniger and Goodnature

What we offer

• A salary between €2,506 and €3,013 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week), depending on knowledge and experience.
• A one-year contract for 32-40 hours per week, with the prospect of permanent employment.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Animal Science.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or technical product marketing.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, especially for hardware and software.
• Experience in B2B2C environments (dealer/distributor/end-user).
• Familiarity with compliance processes and certification management.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German, Dutch or French is an advantage.
