Partnerships & Category Buyer (Earthmoving Machines)

AsΒ OE Partnerships &Β Category BuyerΒ Earthmoving Machines,Β you will make a significant and visible impact.
You are the strategicΒ personΒ behind strong, future-proof relationships with key OE brands in the earthmoving sector. YouΒ identifyΒ opportunities in a dynamic market, engage and select partners that strengthen our assortment strategy, and build long-term collaborations that support a high-performing supply chain. You create win-win partnerships that drive growth, profitability, and innovation.
You are both the buyer for this category and alsoΒ responsibleΒ forΒ expandingΒ Krampβs supplier network in the earthmovingΒ machineΒ domain.Β YouΒ solidify our position as a preferred supplier in the industry.
You work closely with CategoryΒ DevelopmentΒ Manager andΒ and report to the Head ofΒ Tractor&Vehicle.
Your role
- Supplier Partnerships: Build, manage andΒ optimizeΒ a strategic OE supplier base. Ensure compliance, performance, and long-term value creation.
- Supplier Acquisition:Β IdentifyΒ potential leads,Β initiateΒ contact through cold calling and networking, and convert prospects into long-term partners.
- Business Planning: Contribute to category strategies and annual plans; support business cases and resource estimates for key initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Align with internal teams, share insights, and ensureΒ strong communicationΒ and commitment.
- Sourcing & Buying: Analyze markets,Β identifyΒ cost drivers, and negotiate pricing,Β termsΒ and assortment.
- Performance & Contract Management: Monitor supplier KPIs, SLAs and agreements; drive improvements and renegotiate where needed.
- CostΒ & Value Optimization:Β IdentifyΒ savings opportunities, implement improvements, and maximize supplier contribution.
- Supply Chain Support: Partner with supply chain teams to enhance delivery performance and operational efficiency
Who are you?
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in business development, strategic procurement, partnerships, or category management
- Experience or affinity withΒ earthmoving machines, heavy equipment, or industrial engineering is a strong advantage
- Strong negotiator with a strategic mindset and solid commercial acumen
- Strategic thinker who turns trends and opportunities into actionable plans
- Strong communicator who builds trust and long-term relationships, internally and externally
- Commercial driven, committed to achieving results.
