Festival construction volunteer
As part of the construction team, you will help build up and break down the festival locations.
The tasks are very diverse and each day is therefore different: building stages, erecting fences, among other things.
You can decide for yourself how many days you will participate.

- You are sociable and enjoy working together.
FestiValderAa is an intimate festival taking place in the beautiful Drentsche stream valley landscape near Schipborg. For three days, this area is transformed into a vibrant meeting place where lovers of theatre, art and music come together for a unique experience. We are therefore looking for volunteers every year to join us in experiencing FestiValderAa!
To ensure that the grounds are transformed into a beautiful festival site, we work with an enthusiastic team of volunteers in the week prior to the festival on the construction. Are you a real go-getter and would you like to experience FestiValderAa 'behind the scenes' during the build-up and/or breakdown week? Then come and help out in team 'Powerhouses!
The festival is from 4 to 6 July 2025. Construction starts on June 30 and dismantling is from the end of the festival until July 9, 2025.
What do we offer you?
- A very enjoyable week full of new social contacts and experiences.
- With two or more shifts: free access to the festival site.
- With two or more shifts: overnight camping.
We would love it if you come by bike! Coming by car? There is plenty of parking space. There is also a bus service (it is a 30-minute walk from the bus stop).
