Hospitality Star Noorderzon
The largest group of volunteers working at Noorderzon are our hospitality volunteers. For the various bars on our festival grounds, we are looking for people who enjoy serving drinks to our audience. The work mainly involves pouring, tapping beer and settling the bill. You will also spend a lot of time setting up, tidying up and cleaning your location/bar. You will work together with a large group of volunteers managed by our bar supervisors. The responsibility of all this is in the hands of our hospitality managers, who manage a particular area within our festival. Hospitality experience is not required!
- You are sociable and can communicate clearly with our visitors.
- You are friendly and approachable to our visitors.
- You are reliable and keep appointments and schedules.
- You are a team player and can work well with other volunteers and crew.
- The minimum age for working within the hospitality industry at Noorderzon is 18 years.
Noorderzon Festival of Performing Arts & Society is the combination of an international arts festival featuring exciting contemporary performing arts from all parts of the world.... as well as a grand summer festival in a freely accessible park.
Everyone is welcome to visit the festival, or come to work. As a crew you can help in various ways to make the 34th edition of Noorderzon a success, for example as a Volunteer Hospitality. Below you can read exactly what this position entails.
The 34th edition of Noorderzon will take place from 22 August - 1 September 2024!
Do you work at least 3 shifts? Then we will give you a free ticket to a performance at the festival. Do you work during meal times? Then you can join us for dinner. You will also receive a number of tokens for each day you work.
