About the Role

As an Algemeen Technisch Medewerker (General Technical Employee) at NOV Tuboscope in Coevorden, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our machine shop. Working under the supervision of the Head of Workshop and in collaboration with the Quality Department, you will perform various technical tasks to ensure smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from machines, using a forklift where necessary.
• Remove or apply protectors to equipment and materials.
• Move finished products to the next production phase using an overhead crane.
• Prepare and finish pipes, tools, and other products for technical processing.
• Saw various types of materials.
• Perform general workshop duties to support smooth operations.

Additional Tasks

• Marking, stenciling, labeling, swaging, torquing, phosphating, greasing, MPI testing, and applying protectors.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

• Education: LBO (pre-vocational education) level or equivalent in a technical field.
• Certifications: Valid forklift license, VCA certification, and driver’s license (category B).
• Technical Insight: Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes.
• Administrative Insight: Ability to manage basic documentation and production data.

• Prior experience in a machine factory or similar technical environment.
• Experience with overhead crane operation and industrial material handling.
