As a Trainee NDT Inspector (career change), you will contribute to the quality, reliability, and safety of our products and processes. Depending on your experience, you will be trained to carry out inspections independently.
Key responsibilities:
· Perform Non Destructive Testing (NDT) on material and visual inspections of Drill Stem Elements and OCTG.
· Inspect parts, components, and subcomponents in line with procedures, standards, and regulations (API, DS-1, NS-2).
· Carry out mechanical/manual cleaning and replace protectors when needed.
· Test report creation using standard Office applications.
· Conduct visual and instrument-based quality checks.
· Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, filing, deburring, drilling, threading.
· Report malfunctions, deviations, and unsafe situations.
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
· Collaborate with other departments and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace.
Qualifications & Skills
For Trainee / Junior NDT Inspector:
· Motivated, a team player and willingness to learn.
· Commitment to internal training and external courses (e.g. VTI, MPI, DPI, UT).
· Technical and logical insight.
· Basic vocational education (MBO or equivalent) preferably with a background in metalworking and electrical engineering
Personal qualities:
· Accuracy and punctuality.
· Quality- and safety-focused.
· Customer-oriented, ethical, and team player.
· Able to work independently.
· Good knowledge of MS Office.
