Second Officer / DPO – Walk to Work
Second Officer / Dynamic Positioning Officer (W2W)
Join Wagenborg Crew Management B.V. and become part of our Offshore Fleet as aΒ Second Officer / Dynamic Positioning Officer, with a focus onΒ Walk to Work (W2W) operations. In this role, you will contribute directly to the safe, efficient, and professional operation of our vessels in the North Sea.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Officers / SDPO in all aspects of vessel operation and navigation
- Operate and maintain Dynamic Positioning systems in support of W2W operations
- Conduct safety inspections and participate in drills to maintain the highest safety standards
- Work closely with the crew to ensure effective communication and teamwork on board
- Comply with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive working environment
- Operate the Fast Rescue Craft in accordance with ERRV regulations
What Weβre Looking For
You are a motivated and detail-oriented maritime professional at the start of your career, with a strong interest in offshore operations and safety-focused working practices. You are eager to further develop yourself as aΒ professional Dynamic Positioning OperatorΒ andΒ Davit-Launched Craft (DC) Coxswain driver, and you are committed to continuous learning and skill development within an offshore environment.

Job requirements
- Ability to work well in an International team environment
- Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (STCW II/1)
- Valid DP unlimited certificate (or willingness to obtain these certificates)
- Valid STCW Training Certificates
- Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to safely carry out nautical watchkeeping duties
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Flexibility to work in challenging offshore conditions
- Preferred experience on PSV or W2W vessels
- Preferred experience on ERRV vessels
