Our services

Blue Umbrella offers one-off services for a fixed fee and subscription based services for a fixed monthly or annual fee. The fixed fee model offers transparency in the pricing, affordability of the service and avoids opaque practise of time-based billing.

The following services are offered as for a fixed fee:

• Individual Dutch income tax filing
• Application of allowances
• Accountancy support and business tax filing for sole traders (ZZP and VOF) and legal entities (such as limited liability companies and foundations)
• Payroll administration for NL and foreign based employers

Our vision

Blue Umbrella is a technology driven company with an in-house team of developers who continuously work on new platform features to enhance our service offering. A large customer support team remains available to coach clients and answers questions.

Due to the international backgrounds of our clients we aim to expand our network to popular expat countries, such as France, Germany and the UK. We actively engage in developing partnerships and investments in these countries to prove a seamless international tax service experience.

Groningen Subsidiary

Blue Umbrella is exploring a subsidiary in Groningen as outpost of our main location in Amsterdam. The objective of this subsidiary is to service clients well beyond the Groningen area using the platform offered by Blue Umbrella.

The location will be run independently and work in close collaboration with the team in the Amsterdam location. To promote team working staff from both locations may work from time to time on alternating locations. Though, staff located in Groningen will mainly from Groningen.

Our customers

Our customers have an international background are do mostly living in the Netherlands or have a professional relationship with the Netherlands.

Main Office

Blue Umbrella’s main office is located at the Keizersgracht 756 in Amsterdam. Our recently split off for U.S. tax support, Taxbrella, is located at the same address.
