The International Welcome Center North (IWCN) is a one-stop place for international people living in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
We offer services in four areas:
- Government formalities (residence permits and municipal registration).
- Information about adapting to a life in northern Netherlands (practical information and referrals to reliable service providers).
- Support and orientation for companies in the process of hiring and onboarding employees from abroad as smooth as possible.
- Events (chances to start building a social and/or business network, integration to Dutch society activities, community building).
All of this happens at our location in Groningen, as well with a support team in Leeuwarden.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 to 16:30.
If we can’t assist you via telephone or by e-mail, then face-to-face information appointments can be made by calling the IWCN.
