The laboratory in Assen is a highly specialized and innovative organization offering a wide range of bioanalytical services for the global pharmaceutical industry. In our modern GLP-compliant laboratory, our mission is to provide both quantitative and qualitative analyses of all types of drugs as well as biomarkers in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS, ligand-binding assays (ELISA), qPCR, and flow cytometry.
Our enthusiastic team of about 100 bioanalytical scientists has expertise ranging from small molecules and peptides to cells and proteins, including antibodies and antibody conjugates, oligonucleotides, vaccines, and nanoparticles.
For the Ardena Bioanalysis business unit, located in Assen, we are looking for a
Technician / Analyst LC-MS/MS
What youâll be working on:
As an LC-MS/MS analyst, you will be involved in the analysis of biological samples and the processing of data, using LC-MS/MS as the primary technique. You will also be responsible for validating new methods. It is extremely important that the work is carried out in accordance with the GLP/GCP quality system. Since you will also support our project managers in preparing final reports, youâll be involved inâand responsible forâthe entire process from start to finish.
Your tasks will also include other lab-related duties such as maintenance and validation of instruments, as well as maintaining and continuously improving our GLP/GCP quality system. In collaboration with your colleagues in the lab, project managers, and your team manager, you will ensure we meetâor even exceedâour clientsâ expectations.
Who we are looking for:
- You have an MBO diploma (secondary vocational education) in analytical chemistry or a similar field.
- Preferably, you have several years of experience in analyzing (biological) samples using LC-MS/MS.
- Experience with GLP/GCP quality systems is a plus.
- You are comfortable in a challenging and constantly changing work environment.
- You are proactive and eager to develop yourself.
- You are flexible, a problem solver, and a team player.
- You have an analytical mindset and can handle stressful situations well.
- You are quality- and results-oriented.
- You have good communication skills and speak English fluently. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

- A gross monthly salary between âŹ2,500 and âŹ3,500, depending on your knowledge and experience, based on a full-time (40 hours/week) contract.
