Hydroinformatics Intern

What you will do!

At HULO.ai, your internship offers hands-on learning with real impact. You support our mission to reduce global water loss while bridging technical solutions with real-world water network challenges. Working with experienced colleagues, you grow your skills in an open, collaborative environment.

During your internship, you:

• Support client onboarding and platform configuration
• Assist in analyzing water network data to generate insights on flow, pressure, and sensor performance
• Help configure software solutions for specific client requirements
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges
• Learn to work with Python for data analysis and automation
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
• Work with colleagues from different disciplines including engineering, data science, and client success

What you will bring!

You are curious, hands-on, and a problem solver. You have a MacGyver mentality – finding practical solutions even with limited resources. You bring an interest in both water engineering and technology, and enjoy working on projects that create environmental impact.

We expect you to bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil Engineering, Water Management, Environmental Engineering, Hydroinformatics, or a related technical field
• Basic understanding of water networks, hydraulics, or IoT systems
• Interest in programming, preferably Python (moderate skills helpful but not required)
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn by doing
• Strong communication skills with English proficiency at C1 level
• Collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from feedback

It helps if you also bring:

• Understanding of the relationship between flow and pressure in water networks
• Experience with data analysis or engineering projects
• Knowledge of sensor technology or SCADA systems
• Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary work that bridges water engineering with software and data
