Circular building materials processors

Work:

During the start-up over the next few months, we are looking for people to help us on Thursdays from 9am to 5pm.

The work includes:

-> Sorting second-hand materials

-> Processing second-hand materials (sawing, de-nailing, cleaning, etc.)

-> Editing second-hand materials (sawing, de-nailing, cleaning, etc.)

-> Furnishing the shop

We are looking for volunteers who:

✅ Enthusiastic about circular building and sustainability

✅ Want to roll up their sleeves in collecting and sorting materials

✅ Like to help others

✅ Want to contribute to a social and sustainable community

✅ Handiness with tools is nice and passion for materials is also a nice touch

At Energieweg 17 in Groningen, we are setting up a Circular Building Materials Hub; a place where reused building materials are given a second life. Here, we will collect, sort and sell materials to reduce waste and enable affordable, sustainable building.
