Sales & Relations Associate (German) - Part-time

Location: The DJ Company HQ, Groningen Center (Ubbo Emmiusstraat 30-A)

About the Role
Join our ambitious and young team to lead The DJ Company’s expansion within North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. As one of our first German team members, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service, managing DJ partnerships, engaging with venues, and shaping our strategy for success in the German market. In this role, you will start by managing the practical aspects of daily operations, while gradually taking on a more strategic position where you can apply your expertise, background, and initiative to support and accelerate our company’s growth. We’re looking for a self-managed professional who can think at a high business level, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop impactful projects in cooperation with our (inter)national team. At The DJ Company, we encourage you to direct your own points of focus within the scope of your responsibilities, ensuring both autonomy and alignment with our broader goals.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Support: Serve as the main point of contact for German clients, follow up on leads by phone, and provide excellent customer service.
• DJ Management: Hire, dismiss, and maintain a high-quality pool of DJs.
• Venue & Stakeholder Relations: Communicate with venues and forge new partnerships.
• Localization & Optimization: Support the ongoing adaptation of key company elements to the German market and culture, and actively contribute ideas to optimize them for long-term success.

Requirements

• Education: HBO or WO (Dutch higher education level)
• Language: Native-level German proficiency
• Business-level English for internal communication
• Skills & Experience:
  • Affinity with business
  • Commercial mindset
  • Sales experience (preferred)
  • Strong sense of responsibility and independence
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Availability: part-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: €2,500 – €3,000 (based on 40 hrs)
