ABOUT YOUNG HEROES

Young Heroes is a pioneering coaching and career platform dedicated to empowering young professionals. By facilitating meaningful connections with experienced coaches over a transformative six-month coaching assignment, we focus on nurturing the young professionals’ professional growth and their understanding of their professional selves. Our mission is to foster self-confidence and knowledge in young professionals, enabling them to confidently build a career that suits them.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AT YOUNG HEROES?

As a Career Coach at Young Heroes, you will play a crucial role in our mission to support the growth and development of young professionals. Your role involves guiding them through the complexities of their careers and personal development, particularly focusing on Emotional Intelligence. During the ± 20-week coaching journey, you will support the Young Professional in 8 coaching sessions per hour and have two more hours of preparation time which will all be compensated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support and guidance to young professionals in understanding their roles, organizational dynamics, and possible career paths.

Empower coachees by helping them recognize and leverage their strengths, thereby building confidence and agency in their professional lives.

Create and maintain a confidential and respectful environment, fostering a safe space for learning and personal growth.

Offer feedback and maintain accountability, helping coachees align their efforts with their career objectives.

Encourage a perspective of patience and long-term thinking in career development.

REQUIREMENTS

You must hold a coaching certification from a recognized institution. You have to be able to send invoices within the Netherlands (registered freelancer).
Experience in coaching young professionals is a plus.
Knowledge of DISC styles is a plus.
