If you've ever asked yourself these questions, or any other questions about the Northern Dutch job market for that matter, our new service is the place for you. Make it in the North is organising a monthly drop-in moment, together with Hanze, University of Groningen, and UMCG, so you can get all the information you need and kickstart your career in the Dutch North.

- This event is open for anyone - not just jobseekers who are affiliated with the organising partners.
- No need to sign up - just check the dates and locations below, and drop by when it's convenient for you.
- Bring a (digital) copy of your CV and prepare all your career questions, and we'll tell you what your English-language job opportunities look like in our beautiful region. We'll also advise you on how to best tackle your job hunt and what networking opportunities to chase in your field.
- Want to know about starting a startup, freelancing and work visa regulations? We can tell you the basics, and will link you to the experts.

⏰ You can drop by any time between 10:30 and 13:00 o'clock. Block your calendar in advance!
Where do I go? 🗺️
- UMCG: The sessions take place in the MVC building number 39, room 4.03. To enter the UMCG campus, use the pedestrian entrance at 152 Oostersingel, the one next to gate 47. Walk straight along the bike path until you reach building number 39. Use the elevator to get to the 4th floor. Use this step-by-step picture guide.
If you need to wait for your turn, you can take a seat and have a coffee in a lounge room next to the 4.03 room. - RUG, University Library: enter the building and you've arrived! We will be at the Career Services desk.
- RUG, FEB Career Services: We will be at the Duisenberg building (Nettelbosje 2). You can reach the career services room in two ways:
- Via the main entrance: take an immediate right, go past the seating and coffee-corner and the room is right ahead (with glass wall)
- Via the side entrance (across from the entrance of Kapteynborg): take an immediate left in front of the swinging doors.
- Hanze: Find us at the Van Olstborg building (Zernikeplein 7), room T8.003. You can use this map to find the building. Enter thethrough the main entrance and take an immediate left. Take the elevator to the 8th floor and turn left. Room T8.003 will be on your right.
