Employers: meet new talent 🏢
The labour market is tight, while ambitions to grow, innovate and become more sustainable are only increasing. That is exactly why the many international students currently studying in the Northern Netherlands are a golden opportunity for employers. The question is not if, but how you will seize this opportunity.
- Visibility as an employer: You increase your visibility and brand awareness among (international) students.
- Talent comes to you: During the fair you will meet (international) talent with a wide range of interests and skills. Students from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and Campus Fryslân of the University of Groningen will be invited for this day.
- First job, internship or part-time job: At this event you will meet candidates for part-time jobs, first jobs and internships in Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe.
- Innovation: You get new knowledge and perspectives from bachelor’s and master’s students from different fields.

During the WRKevent International Talent on February 12th at NHL Stenden you’ll meet a wide range of Northern Dutch companies that are actively looking for talented (international) students and recent graduates. This is your chance to network with employers, find a student job, an internship, or your first full-time job, and explore career opportunities you may not have considered yet.

- Meet internatonal-friendly companies: ask your questions about company culture or career paths, and hear what they are really looking for.
- Build your professional network: collect business cards, LinkedIn connections and useful contacts for the future (make sure youre LinkedIn is up-to-date!)

Programme 📰
The morning starts with an informative session for employers. WRK.frl/ will take you through how to work with international talent and why it is so important to retain them for our labour market, which is already coping with serious shortages.
Afterwards, there will be an internship and job fair in true WRK.frl/ style: accessible, energetic and focused on real conversations between students and employers. Participation in this fair is free.
Make it in the North is also hosting a workshop to kickstart your career in the Northern Netherlands! Join our workshop to get practical advice about networking, which you can immediately apply at the career fair.
